Looking to combine fitness with awareness and fundraising for CHD. This February, in honor of American Heart Month and CHD Awareness Week, The Fitness Equation is hosting a "Hope for Hearts Cycling Challenge" with all proceeds going directly to the INOVA Children's Heart Center.

In this session of our “Conversation with” series, we will interview Mark Roeder, President and CEO of the ACHA, to learn more about the many things ACHA offers CHD patients and families. We will also explore more about how Mended Little Hearts partners with ACHA to support, educate and advocate.

While the World of Support month officially ends on October 29th, we are helping support our organization year round. Please consider joining us on Saturday, October 31st when we will socially distance, wear masks, and walk in unity to create a world of support for all cardiac patients! Kids are welcome to wear their costumes!

A group of us will be walking at Huntley Meadows Park: Telegraph/ South Kings Hwy Entrance in support of the CNMC Race for Every Child which is virtual this year. Please arrive by 8:45 am. We will have a Facebook Live event at 9am with the Children's National Race Leaders, then we will walk on paved walks through the park beginning around 9:30am. Children, dogs, strollers, even scooters or bikes for the kids are welcome! This will just be a leisurely stroll around 5K.
